SoluCham

Solucham association was founded in 2022 by French mountain and Asia enthusiasts with the goal of promoting education and health in the Solukhumbu region of Nepal. The association aims to contribute to the sustainable development of this mountain valley and to enable its inhabitants to live there.

Its main objectives are as follows:

• Promote access to primary education.
• Provide practical education adapted to the local economic needs, enabling young people to find employment in their mountainous region.
• Support the most disadvantaged families.
• Ensure access to healthcare in the region.

Every year in October-November, the association travels to the region for several weeks. These trips allow them to oversee the construction and launch of the Numbur Vocational Training Center (NVTC) in Garma, provide school supplies and equipment to children in remote villages, and implement environmental awareness projects with the help of the mountain valley communities.
